Imagine hanging out in a beautifully restored heritage Bandra bungalow! This is an all day cafe where you can drink varieties of tea and eat interesting food! 

Run by Unilever's Taj Mahal Tea, this is a beautifully crafted experience. 

Amjad Ali Khan's sarod has pride of place on the wall - The sarod maestro was brand ambassador for this brand for ages! In fact, every so often on public holidays, they organise a classical music performance.  

The restaurant extends across the ground floor of the house with grouped sating arrangements - some small and some larger. the colours and posters used in the decor exude a comfortable living room ambiance and welcome you to stop a while. 

There is a detailed tea menu, and a food menu - which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options and all day tea pairings.

My FAVE - the prawn pattis mini idli burger

We went at lunch time and ate the mini idli burgers - with shrimp and lamb for the non veggies and beetroot for the veggies. We drank copies amounts of 1st flush Darjeeling tea. Dessert included chai panacotta.

A great place to work solo, hold meetings or meet friends.

The store front sells a variety of tea, cookies, etc - they make great gifts for tea aficionados. i bought some too- the 1st flush Darjeeling tea.

Love the place - the exterior, the interiors, the ambiance the tea and the food! Good service too!

Strongly recommended.- I've already been twice and will return soon and will certainly try the high tea experience!
